With over 10 stores in Cyprus, Australian owned Gloria Jean’s is one of the lead players in the coffee industry. As with any business however, a decrease in marketing efforts over an extended period of time can affect your brand, especially in such a competitive industry. Gloria Jean’s came to us with the challenge of bringing customers back into the stores to appreciate good quality coffee.
Go Where Your Coffee Takes You (GWYCTY) was our 3 month campaign and competition which expressed that Gloria Jean’s coffee can take you anywhere, even to Australia.
Hivebreed built the ‘Glorious’ Chatbot, where customers would sign up for a loyalty card and gain a participation for weekly prizes. The final gift was a trip to Australia for two. During the 3 month campaign, the chatbot had more than 2,1K targeted registrations.
Our star creative used for this campaign was the ‘Take me to Australia’ video, which was played just over 1 million times on Facebook and received 126K views on YouTube.
In total, our Facebook and Instagram campaigns during the 3 month period had an individual reach of 369K and a frequency of 11, meaning that each individual saw our ads on average 11 times.
The biggest success for this campaign is that we managed to bring clients back into the stores with an impressive 45:1 Return on ad spend only via the new members who signed up through our campaign and started visiting the stores.
